Get to Know Us

At VitalCaring, we believe that caring for our staff enables them to provide the highest quality of care to our patients. We equip our team with the necessary tools, training, resources, and support, along with the recognition they deserve, to ensure this exceptional experience is delivered.

Employee Voices

VitalCaring’s interdisciplinary team, comprising clinicians and various healthcare professionals, collaborates closely to coordinate care and services for our patients and their families. We are dedicated to delivering the highest quality of care at every interaction with every patient.

Working with the patients in their own home environment is gratifying for me to see real goals being met to better their health and well-being. I also love that I can spend greater amounts of time with each patient, giving them more education and instruction and more personalized care while still being able to retain a flexible work schedule.

Dalton Hammon, RN Bradenton, FL

In all of my experiences with nursing, providing care to our home bound patients with VitalCaring is my favorite! I feel blessed to help our patients navigate their health needs and witness positive outcomes through our team’s collaborative care.

Erin Marks, RNPascagoula, MS

I have been in home health 13 years of my 16 years of nursing. I enjoy the flexibility of work, but more importantly I really enjoy being able to learn my patients on a deeper, more personal level. This gives me great opportunity to assist more with their needs and give educational instruction that can help improve overall health outcomes.

Lauren Gant, RNBeaumont, TX

I am thankful to work with a team that is compassionate and trustworthy when it comes to our patients. Vital Caring shows every day how proactive we are with our patients, their families, and each other as teammates. Vital Caring does everything they can to support and bring out the best in their employees. I look forward to the many opportunities and blessings to come.

Patricia Washington, RNPort Orange, FL

Our team members are vital to the care we deliver. Meet Andrea, one of VitalCaring’s talented physical therapists in Florida. Physical therapy is a critical part of our home-based program. At VitalCaring, Andrea’s role is to deliver exemplary care while championing her patient’s recovery so that they can have a higher quality of life. We are so fortunate to have Andrea be a part of our team and witness the lives she changes daily.

Andrea is from a very small town in Pennsylvania called Stewartstown “that is barely on the map,” as she refers to it. After receiving her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of St. Augstine, Andrea went to work in the outpatient setting where she treated pediatric to geriatric patients with a myriad of acute and chronic conditions.

After working several years in outpatient therapy, she made the move to work in the home health setting with VitalCaring Group in March and so far ‘loves every second of it.’

As a busy mom and avid explorer, Andrea values the time working in this setting affords her with her family. “When I’m not busy being a mom, I love to read, paint, go to the beach, and do anything outdoors,” Andrea said.

A home-based rehabilitation treatment program affords patients many benefits, but also allows great learning experiences for those administering care. When asked what advice she would give to someone interested in pursuing a career in home-based care, Andrea stated, “Don’t hesitate to try something new – there is going to be so much to learn no matter what setting you go into – and the one-on-one care in home health is unmatched.”

The one-on-one treatment programs Andrea has been able to lead have allowed her to work closely with her patients and witness their confidence grow firsthand. “I love restoring a patient’s confidence in themselves following an exacerbation of symptoms or a fall – allowing the patient to gain trust in themselves and do things they didn’t think they were capable of any longer. It’s a beautiful thing.”

Meet Misty, the Corinth and Tupelo On Call Nurse. Misty is a fierce advocate for her patients and continues to go above and beyond in all aspects of her job. Her patients and their families see her wisdom, compassion, empathy, and humor and love her for it! We are thankful to have Misty as apart of the VitalCaring team in Mississippi!

Kadey, hospice volunteer coordinator in Flowood, MS, brings so much knowledge and expertise to her role, where her personal mission to help others is fulfilled. She goes above and beyond when coordinating care for our patients.

Whether finding a volunteer to sit with the patient, providing companionship, or simply meeting a specific need, Kadey always finds a way to make it happen. Her dedication to teamwork is so admirable and we are extremely grateful to have her as a member of the VitalCaring team!

We’re thrilled to introduce Laci, RN, BD, Branch Director at our Southaven, MS location. Laci brings a wealth of experience in both home health and hospice care, and her dedication to patients and teams alike is truly inspiring.

Here’s what her colleagues have to say about her impact:

“Laci truly embodies compassion. She’s always ready to go the extra mile for both patients and team members. As a servant leader, her wide-ranging skills make a difference, not only for our home health patients but also for those transitioning to hospice care.”

Our Values
