VitalCaring Home Health Branches Earn Prestigious HHCAHPS 5-Star Patient Satisfaction Ratings
Dallas, Texas — July 15, 2026 —VitalCaring is proud to announce that 31 of its home health branches have earned a HHCAHPS 5-Star Patient Satisfaction Rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), placing them among the nation’s highest-performing home health agencies and in the top 10% of providers nationwide.
The CMS Home Health Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HHCAHPS) 5-Star Rating is based entirely on feedback from patients and families about their care experience. The rating reflects exceptional patient experiences, including communication, professionalism, education, and overall satisfaction with care.
“Receiving a 5-Star rating from the people we serve is among the highest honors our teams can achieve,” said April Anthony, Chief Executive Officer of VitalCaring. “These ratings reflect the compassion, dedication, and commitment our caregivers bring to patients and families every day. We are incredibly proud of these teams and grateful for the trust our patients place in us.”
The average home health agency earns a 3.5-Star patient satisfaction rating. A 5-Star rating is the highest patient satisfaction recognition awarded by CMS and reflects exceptional experiences reported directly by patients and families.

The HHCAHPS survey is the nation’s standard for measuring patients’ perspectives on home health care. CMS publicly reports ratings, providing patients, families, and referral partners with an objective measure of quality and patient experience.
“A 5-Star HHCAHPS rating reflects the experience patients and families have with our teams in the home,” said Janice Riggins, Chief Clinical Operations Officer of VitalCaring. “It speaks to the way our clinicians communicate, educate, support, and care for each patient. I’m incredibly proud of these branches and the teams behind this achievement.”
